BIOGRAPHY

RACHEL JOHNSON, Account Director

Rachel loves being in the know. From discovering a new product to following an influencer’s new time-saving hack, she’s always seeking out the latest scoop. This desire to find something new is what made her fall in love with public relations. From sharing a client’s brilliant innovation with curious consumers to providing media with a thought-leader’s incredible insights, this is how Rachel helps spread the word to others about something new that will, hopefully, have a positive impact on their life.

Whether it’s getting to tell an editor about an awesome start-up brand or motivating a new group of customers to fall in love with a legacy brand, Rachel has helped create strategic programs for all size brands during her 15 years in public relations.

With a knack for food, CPG and wellness brands, Rachel has an enthusiasm for building impactful communication campaigns that will turn top media, influencers and, most importantly, consumers into brand loyalists. Driven with a passion for creative storytelling, she enjoys creating media moments the are uniquely tailored to each individual brand.

Prior to joining Approach, Rachel worked at some of the biggest agencies including Ogilvy in New York City and Edelman in London. It was here she has developed and executed thoughtful programs for global consumer brands such as Unilever, Bertolli, Lipton, Knorr and Persil.

Rachel holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Ohio University.
